About Leviwand Dance
Leviwand.Dance is your website for everything about dancing with the leviwand – tutorials, resources, tips and tricks, discussions, dance sequences, courses, and much more.
I hope that this is a wonderful beginning in your leviwand journey! The leviwand, also called the dancing cane in magic, has enabled a deep flow experience, opened up movement possibilities, and blossomed many performing careers.
This website is a way to share and give back to the community that has inspired and encouraged many with their leviwand practice. I’d love to think that this is the website I wish I found when I was just starting out with the leviwand.
I started the original Leviwand Dance website (leviwanddance.com) in February 2018 with the intention of enabling more people to dance with magic using this mesmerizing prop.
Due to a turbulent time in my personal life in late 2018, I was unable to continue with the website and I stopped making videos. The website domain also expired. Though, on the surface, it seemed glamorous that I got accepted in a Cirque du Soleil project in November of 2018, it was full of heartbreaks (both personally and professionally) and challenges (internally and externally).

Now, during the year of the CoVid, I have reinvigorated the website in another domain – Leviwand.Dance!
I am hoping Leviwand.Dance will make your leviwand journey – whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced leviwander, magician, or performer – so much richer and interesting.
Hoping we can reach each other easier, so do subscribe to the YouTube channel, like on Facebook, and follow on Instagram so that you can be updated on the latest about the website.
Thanks and keep it flowing wanders!

Who am I?
I just want to introduce myself briefly, I am Ehrlich Ocampo, also known as “Firechill.” I’ve been exploring long string leviwand since 2013 and have since developed a dynamic and artistic long string leviwand style. This style led me to introduce it to the international circus scene – in the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain or The World Festival of the Circus of Tomorrow in 2016, and also as the first leviwand act on the Cirque du Soleil stage in 2019.

Credited for innovating the circus style of leviwand, I have come to explore and develop Ehrlich’s Leviwand Method – one that integrates illusion, movement, dance, and acrobatic techniques. Even though others may have circus-style leviwand, Ehrlich’s Leviwand Method has specific configurations and precision moves.
It is a method that resonates and inspires with its combination of the magic roots of the dancing cane, the physical expression of flow-wand™, the impressive stunts of circus, and the showmanship and storytelling of theater.
Whether you’re creating artistic pieces, jaw-dropping performances, or just jamming in festivals or flowing by yourself – it is a flexible method that you could translate to different energies.
I am also open to coaching and consultation. You can visit my performer links for more information about my experience:
